The Mclean School of Maryland

Along with The School's mission statement, The School's decision-making is guided by its statement of core values and its diversity/equity statement. The core values state, "as a community dedicated to a student centered approach, where The welfare of The student is a priority, we value equally creativity, innovation, intellectual curiosity and academic achievement, diverstiy, flexibility, respect, a safe and nurturing environment, and a sense of community." The diversity/equity statement begins, "Mclean School's commitment to diversity/equity is an extension of our mission to make education accessible, stimulating, and meaningful to a broad range of learners." It ends with "we expect that all community members will support diversity/equity at Mclean School, just as we expect that all community members will benefit from that work."
