Program areas at The Mom & Dad Project
PROVIDE CONNECTION, EDUCATION AND RESOURCES FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED IN RAISING A CHILD. The Mom & Dad Project was able to successfully meet all our target numbers for our funders and complete the terms of our contracts for the fiscal year. We were able to procure new funding, allowing the opportunity for new programs such as a Teen Outreach Program, Healthy Families America and Healthy Steps. These new programs allow us to expand our services as a Family Resource Center from serving only families with children zero to five, to serving families from birth to death.
Ages & Stages -- Weekly -- Baby's First Year, Baby Signs, Potty training, Happiest Baby on the Block. Classes provided throughout the year and include emphasis on baby's brain development, physical, emotional development, and bonding. Total impact 100s
Nurturing Fathers Program -- 13 sessions, rotating cycles -- Focusing solely on fathers and the important role they play in children's lives, classes are designed to teach fathers the importance of raising children in a warm trusting, and empathetic environment.
