There were 128 registrantions for The midyear meeting held virtually, 216 registrations for The annual meeting in marco island, Florida , 117 registrations for The fall opstech meeting in charlotte, north carolina.
3. Asap - automated secure alarm protocol provides a faster and cost effective means of sending alarm signals directly to public safety answering points. There are 30 active Monitoring centers with 4 in testing. There are 131 public-safety answering points (psap) and 31 in testing or implementation phase.
Publications - provide technical information concerning protection services to The industry. Produced four, quarterly digital issues of tma dispatch publication to 2,000 subscribers. Emailed 52 publications of "signals" to 2,000 subscribers. The website receives approximately 2,300 page views per month.
Frequency coordination - a service to alarm companies that provides a frequency in which to broadcast alarm signals.
Firstnet - The program allows The professional safety and security industry to connect to a high-speed, robust cellular network designed for first responders. That network is known as firstnet. Through a contract with at&t, The Monitoring Association certifies The eligibility of security industry companies to participate in The program. 54 received certificates in 2022.
Five diamond - certification is granted annually to 121+ Monitoring centers that satisfy all of The requirements of The five points of excellence; commitment to: random inspections and quality criteria standards by a nationally recognized testing laboratory (nrtl), The highest levels of customer service, ongoing job-related education and testing by having 100% of its cs operators certified using tma's online training, raising The industry standards through tma membership and participation in its activities, and to reducing false dispatches.
Iq - The installation quality program is The only quality control program for installations, Monitoring, maintenance and service of electronic safety systems. 15 companies pledge to adhere to a stringent code of ethics and provide top-notch maintenance and service.
