The National Association Of State Directors Of Pupil Transportation Svcs

The National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transpotation Services (NASDPTS)purpose is to provide leadership, assistance,and motivation to the nation`s school transportation community and industry. The Association works to ensure safe, secure, environmentally responsible, and cost effective transportation to school children and ensure their continued access to school and school related activities.Each state has an appointed "State Director" for pupil transportation. The appointees are either a part of their state`s education department or a state law enforcement or traffic safety agency. Membership in NASDPTS provides access to: The Association`s annual national conference; the Association`s activities and written comments when reviewing proposed federal laws and proposed federal standards; the expertise of the Association`s membership across the United States and frequently updated contact information and lists for members.

The annual conference provides educational and networking opportunities for the school bus transportation industry.
