Program areas at NESA
Conferences: this is a learning experience dedicated to The professional needs of heads of school, principals, curriculum coordinator, trustees, business manager and others in leadership roles. This includes school leaders attended morning keynotes, three-hour specialist workshoops, and sessions presented by nesa members and affiliates.
Networked learning series: this series explores The fundamentals for sustaining a successful coaching program. Representing The coach's role to staff, building trusting relationships, participating in ongoing training, garnering support from administrators, and providing confidential non- evaluative job embedded professional development to teachers.
Literacy cohort: this program offers in-depth training over time and The chance to network with literacy specialists and leaders from Schools around The region. While some participants will continue as class teachers and literacy leaders in their Schools, others may become literacy coaches and assume other leadership roles. Regardless of their plan, we want to create a forum where they can map out their plans to use their learning once The cohort ends.
