Regrant: nycaier hosted two regrants opportunities (1) an emergency relief fund giving 1000 regrants to teaching artists impacted by covid 19 and (2) nys teaching artist mentorship program which paid teaching artists to engage in mentorship-based workforce development.
Equity & inclusion: nycaier is committed to equity, inclusion, justice, and action in the field of arts education. To support our work to dismantle white supremacy within our organizations, schools, and communities, nycaier hosted programs including professional development workshops, resource creation, and hosting our annual black women's wellness retreat.
Advocacy: nycaier advocates for policy change and increased funding for arts learning in nyc schools.
