We engaged in educational and advocacy activities aimed to ensure that the upcoming 2025 Dietary Guidelines process includes scientific questions that will address the current body of scientific knowledge. Ensuring that U.S. nutrition policy is based on rigorous scientific evidence.We promote the importance of adopting a state-of-the-art scientific process for ensuring evidence-based nutrition policy.

The Nutrition Coalition worked to monitor and comment upon the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans process, to establish an "Alternative Dietary Guidelines" for people with metabolic diseases, and to support restoring whole milk in public schools. The Nutrition Coalition also supported work examining the conflicts of interest on the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee.
