Part III Line 4d: We had 3 other program services:1. A Free Family Concert: ORCMA produced a Free Family Concert and encouraged all the community to attend. It included a display of instruments for the attendees to try out and also meet and talk to some of the musicians that play those instruments. The expenses for this concert were $8,287 and the revenue was $3,625.2. The Summer String Camp: This is for students in about the 4th to 7th grade. It was 1 week in June, held at a local elementary school during the morning with teachers and students and teachers meeting each morning, parents and friends were invited to attend a short program featuring the students. The expenses were $3,285 and revenue was $3,150. 3. Music for Everyone was the name of a free community concert produced by ORCMA and sponsored by a grant from a local church. Expenses were $5,824 and revenue was $5,824.
The Oak Ridge Chamber Series produced 4 chamber concerts, each one with small ensembles featuring groups from other parts of the United States and world.
The Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra performed 4 small concerts and 1 larger one outside in June, 2021 ORCMA produced 2 small chamber concerts, 1 with no audience and a sextet with a small audience ORCMA also produced an educational outreach with 4 musicians and the music director. A grant was received from the Breakfast Rotary for the activityAn ORCMA quartet performed at a National Park Service program which was held outside and was reimbursed for the expense The Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra performed 4 symphony concerts with special guest artists. Also, the Oak Ridge Chorus sang in each of these concerts.
