Supported The social justice field to use communications, media, and culture to tell stories that change how we talk and think about issues including racial justice, immigration, criminal justice, economic justice, health and democracy; trained 468 social justice leaders in narrative and cultural strategies to amplify their voices and effectiveness as storytellers; held our inaugural narrative innovators lab which provided six-months of training and support to 15 social justice leaders and 7 artists to develop narrative and cultural interventions to advance new narratives to support a multiracial society where all people have a voice in The decisions which impact their live; worked with grassroots partners to launch campaigns to deepen civic engagement among communities of color in The south and shift narratives toward a society welcoming to immigrants, migrants, and refugees; held our 11th creative change retreat bringing together leading artists, entertainers, advocates, funders, and cultural strategists to create art and cultural strategies for change; and provided messaging tools with recommendations for responding to breaking news in a way that moves us towards new solutions for our 30,000+network of advocates, funders, artists, policymakers, and other social justice leaders.
