Program areas at The Ovarian Cancer Institute

The Ovarian Cancer Institute continues supporting Ovarian Cancer research projects that have successfully developed a blood test for Ovarian Cancer that has no false positives (necessary for a disease with a 1/78 prevalence in The population), and which identifies 98% of early-stage Ovarian cancers and 89% of late-stage Ovarian cancers. This test will soon be submitted for fda approval. Furthermore, we have created ai tools that can often successfully predict what drugs are likely to be effective in a given patient with Ovarian Cancer, and are developing a quantitative understanding of The neurological effects of anticancer drugs. Finally, we are developing tools that can identify circulating Ovarian Cancer tumor cells, before The metastases are detectable by standard approaches.
