Program areas at The Peace Studio
The Peace Studio served as fiscal sponsor to silver lining's impact 5x project, a program working to help more small businesses, including entrepreneurial artists, succeed by providing them with access to The same people, products, and services as their more privileged counterparts, exploring when community-specific programming makes sense and reframing The entrepreneurial narrative to open hearts and minds, combat prejudice, and activate all stakeholders to do their part. The program is deeply mission aligned with The Peace Studio's effort to resource underserved artists and journalists working to have an impact in their local communities.
The Peace Studio's artist as catalyst program is an immersive, week-long experience for emerging artists, ages 18-26, who are interested in making a positive social impact with their art. 40 young catalysts are selected each year to partake in Studio classes, keynote conversations, and interactive workshops on The themes of artistry, citizenship, and entrepreneurship.
The Peace Studio fellowship supports The work of exceptional, u.s. based artists and journalists whose work builds bridges and seeks a positive impact on society. The program comes with $10,000 for each fellow to work on a peacebuilding project, access to The Peace Studio's skills for creative peacebuilding curriculum, and intensive mentorship.
