Pets in The classroom - this program offers elementary school teachers an opportunity to receive free supplies to purchase, house and Care for pets in their classrooms. Kindergarten through eighth grade teachers can choose from small animals, reptiles, small birds or fish to keep in their classroom and integrate into their curriculum.
Pets in The classroom is an educational grant program that provides financial support to teachers to purchase and maintain small animals in The classroom. This gives children an opportunity to interact with pets, which is an experience that can help shape their lives for years to come. More than 4,100 grants to teachers were granted during 2019.
