Program areas at The Potters' Studio
The Potters' Studio educates, nurtures and inspires a diverse community of ceramic artists. We provide exceptional educational and workspace options for members and students. In 2023, we served 350 members with 24/7 access to our cutting edge Studio that offers firing, training, glaze room, exhibitions and sales, as well as The space and tools to make ceramic art. We also offer 17 classes every eight weeks for a range of skill levels from beginner to advanced. In 2023 we served over 900 students with classes on topics ranging from wheel throwing, to hand building, to sculpture, to collecting wild materials for clays and glazes. We offer scholarships for classes and memberships for bipoc and lgbtqia+ people and highly encourage young people, aged 16-21 to apply. We also invite artists from The local and nationwide ceramics communities to teach workshops for members and The broader community, with 10 workshops in 2023.
