These events comprise The diverse interests of The membership with programs focusing on such topics as athletics, art, business, community, education, environment, food and beverage, health and wellness, historic preservation, travel, literature and philanthropy. In addition to social events, The Club is a gathering place for formal and informal meetings, meals, and gatherings of various types including professional and private dinners, lunches, and breakfasts, celebrations, and friendly get togethers. The clubhouse is registered as a historic landmark by The national register of historic buildings and The city of seattle. The clubhouse, designed in 1903 by kirtland cutter, is an example of jacobean-style architecture and has been standing on 4th avenue in seattle since 1904. The membership is proud to be public stewards of one of seattle's most recognized preservation efforts.
