Program areas at The Reformation Project
Leadership development cohort -The leadership development cohort consists of twelve weeks of in- depth, online study about The bible and lgbtq inclusion as well as four daylong virtual gatherings to reinforce learning and build relationships among participants. The cohort equips christians who love god, love The bible, and love The church with The tools and theological knowledge they need to be effective advocates for lgbtq inclusion in The non-affirming church. The program is designed for those who are interested in engaging non-affirming christians in their community by serving as a local ambassador of The Reformation Project.
Resource sales - The organization released a new 20-module video course, providing an in-depth theological exploration of The bible and lgbtq inclusion. From The six biblical passages that refer to same-sex behavior to broader themes in scripture about marriage, celibacy, sexual ethics, and The roles of men and women, this course carefully lays The groundwork for how christians can both affirm The authority of The bible and affirm their lgbtq friends and loved ones. The organization also offers a 70-page print booklet called "how to talk about The bible and lgbtq inclusion" that has sold thousands of copies.
Reconcile and reform conference - from october 28-30, 2021, we held our annual reconcile and reform conference in phoenix, Arizona, where we gathered for a weekend of worship, teaching, inspiration, and connection with christians from across The country and The world who are seeking to help The church authentically reflect The love of jesus to lgbtq people. The organization also held two pre- conference programs: parents in process, for christian parents with children who have recently come out as lgbtq, and pastors in process, for pastors of non-affirming churches who are seeking to lead their churches toward greater inclusion of lgbtq people.
