Program areas at The Renaissance Project

The organization operated a Regrowing Summer Youth Employment Program which hired 35 youth ages 14-21 at $10 per hour, 20 hours per week for eight weeks. Youth interns were placed at area nonprofit organizations and completed a portfolio including resume and two letters of support by program end.
The organization operated three food pantries at public housing facilities, senior centers and menatal health agencies in New Orleans. The program served 450 low income households monthly.
