The Resource Room The Resource Room Childcare and Learning Center inspires, equips, and validates people while providing opportunities and reconnecting the community to successful possibilities through its mission. Its vision is to create a legacy of pride, responsibility, respect, and generational prosperity. TRR provides a dynamic youth enrichment program for 60 6-12 graders during the school year and 30 students during the summer. It also offers afterschool and summer camp programming for 90 K-5 students while providing quality education.

Program areas at The Resource Room

The Resource Room (TRR) provides a dynamic youth enrichment program for 90 K-5 students and 60 6-12 graders during the school year and summer. The agency provides quality and safe programs that offer many opportunities to complement and enhance academic performance, improve social and emotional outcomes, contribute to healthy lifestyle options, prevent risky behaviors, and improve family engagement. TRR's programing is provided to predominantly African American youth from a high percentage of low-income families. The agency provides care coordination services through a network of collaborative partners. The agency has served approximately 80 youth and families through its care coordination outreach services.
