In order to perform its program services The organization has been diligently pursuing donations, grants and funding opportunities to cover cash needs. They have also been setting up communication, website, and infrastructure platforms needed to establish and maintain contact with The local, state and federal agencies they support. Initial funding to cover many of these start up costs were provided in The form of temporary and interest free short term loans by The ceo. Along with creating The platforms needed to perform their program services, they have actively been recruiting professional Retired volunteers through podcasts, direct emails, speaking at public events, and engaging in promotional public awareness opportunities when and where ever they can. Getting The word out is an important first step.
