Peace Warriors at Lansing: Higher student academic performance ; reduced rates of suspensions, expulsions, and referrals; higher attendance rates; improved student self-esteem and sense of self-efficacy; a greater sense of connection; improved school climate through the retention of staff.
This year Peace Warriors at Joe Shoemaker - The ROCK Center provides a comprehensive social/emotional learning curriculum for students, parents, & school staff, using arts-integrated activities to improve mental wellbeing at Joe Shoemaker Elementary School.
Peace Warriors Summer Camp is a program that uses the arts, mindfulness and intentional community culture cultivation to deliver the building blocks of resilience (attachment, self-regulation and competency). Peace Warriors is a clinical, research-based approach to summer camps. (See Schedule O)
