The center hosts convenings that focus on topics of international importance, with preference given to convenings that align with The Foundation's areas of interest. In 2022, The bellagio center fully reopened with strict covid-19 safety protocols in place. In 2022, The bellagio center hosted 40 convenings and 102 residents with a total annual headcount of 920 participants across both programs. Smart power for rural development india Foundation ("spi"): to provide technical assistance to developers and help expand The field of offgrid renewable energy to rural villages in india to improve The lives and livelihoods of poor and vulnerable people via mini-grids and roof-top solar for small enterprises. Support to developers includes providing The technical assistance for free on site selection, demand/customer acquisition, local enterprise promotion, and local energy system design. The partner developers provide operation, management, procurement, and creditors to The project. Rf provides The funding to local developers for underserved communities.
