The Sanders Institute

The Timeline Project - We have continued compiling resource materials regarding Bernie Sanders four decades of work as Mayor, Congressman and U.S.Senator. This comprehensive project required a concentrated non-public-facing focus as we researched, acquired, digitized and archived written documents, legislative records, newspaper articles, television broadcasts, photographs, graphic images and many other audio-visual materials. While these thousands of records will continue to be supplemented, we are also selecting which issues to highlight for the first releases and weaving materials into narratives. At the end of 2022, the digital archives included over 90,000 records.

Communications, Social Media Content Creation - The Institute's website is updated regularly and has seen an increase in traffic, as has our social media presence. We continue to create informative content on innovative programs that offer progressive solutions to issues of importance.

The Fellows Program - The Institute has expanded the number of Fellows and continued to amplify their voices. We have also continued our international relationships.
