As a Public fund and philanthropic intermediary, Schott enhances The capacity of Education justice grantees and their campaigns through: 1) grantmaking, 2) fundraising and leveraging resources from other philanthropic partners and ; 3) connecting grantee and advocacy partners with "best-in-class" technical assistance. Schott supports a national "opportunity to learn" network of organizations to share information and resources to build momentum for a more fair and just Public Education system that provides all students an opportunity to learn and to thrive.
Schott Foundation serves as The fiscal sponsor to two national Education justice organizations as part of The package of resource supports provided. Schott serves as The legal entity for these organizations and provides accounting, human resources, technical assistance and other administrative and programmatic supports while vesting decision-making authority within The organizations themselves.
