The Show Jumping Hall of Fame and Museum promotes a historical and cultural awareness of the sport. Each year, the Hall of Fame nominates possible candidates for induction into the Hall of Fame. They conduct elections and hold induction ceremonies for those elected, producing plaques for each inductee. The museum hosts nationwide events designed to help amateur and junior riders compete at a higher level than usual, with approximately 150-200 riders participating.
