The Southport Conservancy is dedicated to preserving and restoring unique and historical buildings and property of the Southport community that might be otherwise lost forever. To achieve its mission, the conservancy makes provisions for ongoing costs to preserve these properties. Additionally, the conservancy hosts the Blessing of the Fleet Parade, which coincides with an annual ceremony at lower wharf property in the historic district.
