Sensory & Communication Preschool- Served 32 families of children with communication disorders by offering speech-language therapy in a classroom setting. Taught by two SLPs, one certified assistant, and 1 intern (future SLP), these classes provided a warm and supportive environment for the children and their families. Our goal is to ready children to be successful in a typical Kindergarten setting with only minimal support through intensive speech-language therapy by highly trained, experienced speech-language pathologists who teach literacy, social, receptive, and expressive language skills.
Afternoon Group Therapy Classes - Taught by a highly skilled speech-language pathologist, this class enables communication skill development through interactive literacy instruction. A total of 15 children enrolled in 2017, for 6 week long afternoon group therapy classes.
Summer Camp Program- Served 55 children and 15 interns (future SLPs), providing speech-language therapy and educational support for children with communication disorders and their families. Provided intensive, hands-on training for 15 future SLPs. Provided free educational training to parents on technology and therapy.
