Impact grants - large multi-year grant partnerships for key organizations (2023 key organizations: garden school Foundation, ut ausitn, out teach, spaces of opportunity, wild wisdom Foundation & university of Arizona).
Non-profit partnerships - The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation partners with organizations in our Communities that provide health & nutrition programs to children. The Foundation awarded 27 grants under this program.
School garden grants - to jumpstart garden-based education for 12,000 students, The Foundation awarded grants to build 24 outdoor learning spaces. The Foundation awarded 24 grants across 24 cities.
Garden educator stipends - The Foundation awarded stipends to garden educators to increase access to engaging nutrition education. The Foundation awarded stipends to 19 schools in 19 cities.
Healthy Communities grants - provide funding to help nonprofit partners scale programs and serve a greater number of individuals. Grants are spread over two years. By offering multi-year funding, organizations can build capacity and expand their reach within The Communities they serve. The Foundation awarded 4 grants under this program.
Neighborhood grants - provide funding for establishing elementary school and community gardens in underprivileged areas and developing school-based Healthy nutrition curricula to be utilized in classrooms across multiple states. Inclusive of all program grants, The Foundation awarded 4 grants.
New market grants - Sprouts awards grants to support The Communities where they operate.
Healthy living hero - periodically Sprouts identifies one team member who has been inspired to improve his or her health in a truly meaningful way since working with The company. To recognize their long term commitment to their health, The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation will make a donation on their behalf to a local organization of their choosing that aligns with The Foundation's focus areas.
