1)LeaderSHIFT-A vision model that achnowledges the differences in general leadership, increased succession planning and secured leadership roles/positions across Arizona.Improved knowledge basis for current and emerging leaders and what is necessary for leadership while acting as a collective to improve our future in Arizona.2)Equity & Excellence Project(EEP)- Every Student Succeeds Act(ESSA)-As part of the National Urban League's Equity and Excellence Project they developed a consolidated, streamlined set of 12 requirements for states to address ESSA implentation while demonstrating their effectiveness to advance equity and excellence for vulnerable students in our national public schools, various sponsors in attendence as well as 599 attendees. 3) African American Leadership Institute & Graduation Ceremony- The African American Leadership Institute is committed to the development of African American leaders for the purpose of increasing civic, political and workfoce leadership roles. The graduation ceremony had 16 institue graduates, 18 starting participants, 211 graduation ceremony attendees, along with various sponsors in attendence. Some of the sponsors include: The ASU foundation, Wells Fargo Bank, Arizona Public Service (APS), Maricopa Community College, to name a few.
