The Stella Effect supports and enhances the quality of life and care of children diagnosed with trisomy, both inside and outside of Kentucky, through compassionate and supportive activities. It develops programs that educate parents and family members about treatment and other information regarding the condition. The organization participates in programs or projects to celebrate milestones and honor loved ones in the Trisomy 13/18 community. Additionally, it provides compassionate and supportive services to children in neonatal intensive care units.
