The Storehouse of Northeast Florida

Bi-monthly Food Distributions continued in the 2023 tax year. Additionally, there were 10 'pop-up' distributions that were hosted at other church locations in the neighboring communities. For the 2023 Tax year "The Storehouse of Northeast Florida" provided food at these 36 events to 7,201 families with 22,462 individuals. Thru the support of First Baptist Church Callahan, Feeding Northeast Florida, and other community gifts there was over an estimated 232,000 pounds (116 tons) of food provided to the community. Families received a prepacked large bag of mixed staples and in addition they received fresh and refrigerated goods. With 7,201 families being served and food that was purchased or donated with a value of over $380,550.00 that means that an average family received over 32 lbs. and $31 in food at each distribution.
