Program areas at The Van Zandt County Fair Association

Hosting of the annual Van Zandt County Fair in March/April. The fair offers a youth livestock and ag mechanics show, an open beef cattle & gilt show, an arts & crafts show, youth speaking events, a spelling bee, a pageant, and horticultural events for youth and adults. A rodeo and carnival is also hosted in conjuction with the annual fair.
Provide scholarships to youth exhibitors that excel in agricultural education. Four scholarships were awarded in 2022.
