Data mapping for good The Virtue Foundation data mapping initiative is a forward-thinking technology platform that seeks to create a more efficient marketplace for The delivery of healthcare in under-served regions of The world. Born of years of on The ground medical missions, The platform leverages predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms to analyze geospatial data, infrastructure, risk factors, and other environmental conditions to better predict need and match available resources. Through a simple and free user interface, The platform seeks to provide individuals, non-profits, governments, and companies with more efficient access to The data needed to help make critical decisions on how to most efficiently allocate resources for greatest impact. At The Virtue Foundation, research and analytics are a large part of all of its program areas, and an ultimate goal in every project that is undertaken. Analytics is enabled by knowledge and data. Therefore, another guiding principle of The work is The collection and sharing of interdisciplinary data to better inform its programming. To this end, The Virtue Foundation currently developing several interactive map projects that will lay out needs and available resources to inform where assistance is needed and help guide specifically what kind of intervention is needed as well.
The Virtue Foundation provided a variety of advanced medical and surgical treatments in mongolia including ophthalmology, oculoplastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, anesthesiology and intensive care, hepatobiliary surgery, and neurosurgery. In addition to The clinical work, mongolian doctors are taught and trained in sustainable skills and knowledge transfer is a key pillar of every Virtue Foundation mission. The Foundation also provided medical and surgical care as well as educational initiatives in The underserved northwest region, including tumu and wa in ghana. Virtue Foundation also supported medical and surgical missions in ecuador and vietnam.
