Datamapping for good The Virtue Foundation actionable data mapping initiative (formerly named The "data mapping initiative") is a forward- thinking technology platform that employs machine learning and ai to better match needs and resources in 72 low and low-middle income countries. This first of its kind platform provides medical professionals and other global health actors with The information they need to best deploy their time, talent and resources. Born of years of on The ground global medical and surgical missions in underserved regions of The world, The platform leverages predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms to analyze geospatial data, infrastructure, risk factors, environmental conditions as well as other factors to arrive at insights critical to improving The delivery of healthcare to those most in need. Designed to create a more efficient marketplace for The delivery of healthcare in underserved regions of The world, The platform, through a simple, free user-friendly interface, seeks to provide individuals, non- profits, governments, and companies with more efficient access to data needed to help make critical decisions on The how to most efficiently allocate resources for greatest impact. At Virtue Foundation, research and analytics are a large part of all its program areas, and an important goal in every project that is undertaken. Analytics is enabled by knowledge and data. Thus, another guiding principle of its work is The collection and sharing of interdisciplinary data to better inform its programming. To this end, Virtue Foundation continues to develop several interactive map projects that will lay out needs and available resources to help inform where assistance as well as specific intervention is needed.
The Virtue Foundation provided a variety of advanced medical and surgical treatments in mongolia including ophthalmology, oculoplastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, anesthesiology and intensive care, hepatobiliary surgery, and neurosurgery. In addition to The clinical work, mongolian doctors are taught and trained in sustainable skills and knowledge transfer is a key pillar of every Virtue Foundation mission. The Foundation also provided medical and surgical care as well as educational initiatives in The underserved northwest region, including tumu and wa in ghana. Virtue Foundation also supported medical and surgical missions in ecuador and vietnam.
