The Way Home Adoption

The Organization receives referrals from judges, Child Protective Services, child placement agencies, emergency shelters, etc., to be an active member on a child's case. These children are 11 - 17 and are at risk of emancipation from care without a permanent family or home. We work to find them connections from their past or in our current community to be their forever home. We opened cases for 14 children this year and served 35 youth, 19 rolling over from last year. We closed 11 cases: 4 adoptions, 2 permanent placements. Current success rate is 55%.
