Conferences & seminars: The Wict Network offers a wide variety of conferences and leadership events throughout The year, as well as curated training seminars for Women leaders. These events include The Wict Network leadership conference, The tech it out conference, The betsy magness leadership institute (bmli), and The rising leaders program.the leadership conference focuses on cutting-edge business innovations and workplace solutions to address business strategy, human capital, productivity, psychological safety, deib and what it means to be a great leader today. The tech it out conference brings together experts from inside and outside The Cable industry to share their insights on technology and leadership with our target audience of Women and people of color. Our conferences allow dedicated time for leadership training and networking, giving participants The opportunity to connect with and learn from each other.the bmli convenes top ranked executive education institutions to provide competitively selected leaders with a year-long, immersive experience focused on developing critical leadership competencies and a b2b Network. The Wict Network's rising leaders program (rlp) is a premier professional development program for emerging Women leaders in media, entertainment and technology. Participants learn how to build and develop high-performing teams; expand their organizational impact; build alliances; assess diverse leadership styles, and more.
Membership: our member resources, educational events, and diversity research helps ensure we are market leaders. Our members are given access to unmatched professional development and networking opportunities; access to The Wict Network's online learning library, including top-rated education content, webinars, conference sessions; and access to The Wict Network member app, which allows members to chat, Network, and collaborate with peers across The globe.
Other services: other services includes Wict Network marketing & communications, association outreach, program development, and capacity building. The Wict Network's local chapters offer a vital local connection for members throughout The us, The eu, uk, and latin america. Chapters also offer unique leadership opportunities through committees and chapter board roles. Chapter leaders work in concert to deliver impactful programs and events focusing on technology, mentoring, professional networking and personal branding. in addition, The organization publishes regular news and insights
Special events: The Wict Network hosts two annual special events - The signature lunch and The touchstone lunch. The signature awards luncheon is The Wict Network's key gender diversity and inclusion platform. Each year, we showcase thought leaders from both inside and outside The industry to highlight The business case for gender diversity in The media and around The world. The touchstone lunch is held in conjunction with diversity week and serves as an opportunity to unite in celebration of The value Women bring to their companies and The industry at large.
Initiatives: The Wict Network serves as a catalyst for industry change through research, development, advocacy and educational programs.our most important research effort is The par initiative, which measures and supports The advancement of Women in The media, entertainment and technology industries in three areas: pay equity, advancement opportunities and resources for work/life integration.the par initiative offers a roadmap for identifying and tracking inequality and pinpointing where there is room for improvement. Companies can then apply this information to such areas as employee retention and recruiting, and to such crucial practices as establishing a pay equity policy.the Wict Network's par initiative affects The entire industry by creating benchmarks for a more diverse and fair work environment.
