Program areas at The Willow Domestic Violence Center

The Organization provides active support and safe shelter for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. The shelter houses adults and their children fleeing from a violent relationship. Clothing, food, and job search information is provided, as well as, emotional support for the adults and children that visit the organization. The Organization provides a youth violence and teen dating violence prevention program, children's art and activities programs, court and systems advocacy, human trafficking assistance and shelter, employment services and work program that allows survivors to stay in current employment, and community education about the community impact of domestic violence. The Organization services 300 to 450 adults and children annually, answers 3,900 crisis and referral calls per year, and services over 3,500 throughout Douglas, Franklin, and Jefferson counties in Kansas.
