The Wilson Foundation

Waterberg academy is a registered nonprofit organization in the country of south africa, serving over 150 children in grades 000 - 12. The wilson foundation provided financial support to waterberg academy that enabled disadvantaged students to receive tuition, uniforms and textbooks necessary to attend school, salaries for teachers and teacher/facilitators, a preschool training program for teachers at rural farm-based preschools, marketing support, and funding to construct and build a new library, science and technology building at the school.

The wilson foundation added a tuberculosis (tb) treatment program. The tb initiative program provides an examintation/isolation facility and a research lab. The program sponsors both tb treatment and research with the goal of eradication.

Waterberg welfare society is a registered nonprofit organization in the country of south africa (a section 21 organization is equivalent to a us 501(c)(3) organization). The waterberg welfare society (wws) provides hospice care, a walk-in clinic, a mobile clinic, a youth program and various community outreach programs for the 35,000+ members of this vast, rural community. Grant funding from the wilson foundation was used to provide operating support for the various programs of the wws, medicines for the mobile clinic, the orphans and vulnerable children (ovc) feeding program, and support for the boys2men mentoring program.
