Program areas at The Word at Work
Overall support for operating two children's homes, churches, The prison, multiple sewing co-ops, and schools, in belize. We were able to provide medicine, clothing, food, tuition, and staff compensation for each of these operations. 27,955 worth of supplies were donated to The Word at Work and then The Word at Work donated The supplies to organizations in belize.
Short term mission trips for groups of people from churches of all denominations from The usa to belize, central america. The mission groups help build churches, build & renovate orphanages, build & restore homes, restore humane conditions at The belizean prison, provide training to various organizations, facilitate medical consultation, and spread The gospel of jesus christ. These trips were paused in 2021 due to covid-19 travel restrictions.
