The Zawadisha Fund provides small loans to rural Kenyan women to finance their livelihoods. They finance and distribute solar lamps, rainwater tanks, and clean cookstoves. They also provide leadership and financial literacy training. Zawadisha-US raises funds and provides operational support for its sister entity in Kenya. In 2022, they provided 343 loans for household goods and served 291 women in four counties in Kenya. They also delivered 1,473 products.

In 2023, we provided 365 loans to rural kenyan women, serving 309 total women. We also collaborated with community based organizations in kenya to provide monthly, two hour trainings to women through our peer educator program, training between 10 and 18 women per month on permaculture, financial literacy, and leadership.
