Therapeutic Harp Foundation provided approximately 2,025 hours of therapeutic harp music to critically ill and medically fragile patients, infants and children at twenty-five Phoenix metropolitan hospitals, hospices, and faith communities. Evidenced based research shows that live therapeutic harp music reduces pain and anxiety in newborns and cardiac patients, helping a patient heal and be released from hospital care faster than planned. Our seven therapeutic harpists reach the underserved, the underinsured. and others in all walks of life and at all economic levels, and they calm anxious parents and elders in pain. Harpist touched the lives of approximately 55,000 patients, family members, and hospital staff in 2017.
