Program areas at Thin Man Dance
Creation, presentation and teaching of original works of Dance through the united states and elsewhere to the public, as well as allied activities that support the vibrant public discourse and engagement with contemporary Dance and performance. In fy23 our activities is in the final stage of development and world premiere performances of visitation, as well as early development of a new work, presented as a work-in-progress at baryshnikov arts center in june 2023. Thin Man Dance, Inc continues to be co-owner of a commercial condominum community facility in brooklyn, ny that serves as the home for center for performance research, Inc., a fully independent 501(c)(3) with a symbiotic mission to that of Thin Man Dance, Inc. In supporting research in and public engagement with contemporary Dance and allied forms. While center for performance research, Inc. has its own fully independent board, governance structure and staff, the continued collaboration between the two organizations is a central component of Thin Man Dance, inc.'s ongoing mission.
