The Pilot project for Thinking Huts was the construction of a school using 3D Printing Technology in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar.This school will be built on the university Ecole de Management et d'Innovation Technologique (EMIT) campus grounds. The school wasa composite of 3D Printed walls and traditional roofing. The Pilot involved the rental of a printer to fully develop the ongoing process to build more schools more quickly and efficently in Madagascar and potentially other areas where there is need for education infrastructure. With construction to be completed in 2022 a number of expenses were incurred in 2021 including a soil test,ground clearing and foundation work. Fundraising activities took place in 2021 to fund the pilot.
