The Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society, Inc. (ttchs) is the largest non-profit animal welfare organization in thomasville, ga, thomas County, and southwest Georgia. Our open admission animal shelter provides a temporary home and services to abandoned, homeless, lost, and abused pets. Thanks to the support of our community, we help thousands of animals every year. In 2023, ttchs accomplished the following: 752 animal adoptions; 95% live release rate; started our community pet food pantry; hosted first annual tails and trails event; participated in the akc master national trial; participated in over 75 community events; first ever (and only) fall puppy pumpkin patch; raised over 30,000 for a new heartworm fundraiser; selected to participate in national shelter collaborative program- grant award of 1.6m.
