Program areas at Three Rivers Community Action
Community development:provided a continuum of housing services and assistance to low-income families; provided home ownership counseling and financial education to 289 households; weatherized 25 homes, installed 20 new furnaces, and provided standalone water heaters in 11 homes; assisted 1,869 homes with energy related repairs; assisted 5,743 households with energy assistance; assisted 898 households with assitance paying water bills; provided energy and water crisis assistance to 2,923 homes; provided homeless prevention and assistance to 256 households; provided transitional housing and rapid rehousing to 46 households; provided permanent supportive housing to 13 households; provided snap food stamp outreach to 385 households; provided general and housing information and referral, education, outreach activities, advocacy information to low-income households in goodhue, olmsted, rice, and wabasha counties.
Early childhood/head start:provided early childhood/head start services to 184 children and their families; provided early head start home visiting services to 49 families of children aged birth to 3; provided early childhood childcare services to 18 children aged birth to 3.
Transportation: provided 195,601 public transit rides and provided 2,900 volunteer rides.
Housing development:assisted 19 households with gap financing; managed 646 affordable rental unites: developed 68 affordable rental units.older adult services:provided 36,518 meals to older adults and disabled clients and provided services to 355 older adults and caregivers.housing rental: operated 643 rental housing units to provide affordable housing to low- and moderate-income households.
