Program areas at Thrive Baseball Club
This is Thrive Baseball Club, Inc.'s fifth year. The primary program which carries out its exempt purpose is establishing its youth baseball team of 15 players and completing an 11 week summer 2017 season. Expenses directly related to the youth baseball team program include: - Tournament entry fees: $8,731 - Facilities and equipment: $3,770 - Coaches and staff: $65,145 - Payroll expense: $4,847 - Uniforms and gear: $9,409 - Travel: $49,936 - Other Costs: $29 - Meals: $3,722 - Team Activities: $2,548. TOTAL: $148,137. For the summer season, the team participated in 9 tournaments (4-5 games each), one showcase camp, and a one week off-site training camp. The team played approximately 36 games.
The additional program focused on personal character development by teaching "life lessons" to players through hard work, committment and sacrifice. The boys put what they learned into practice through volunteer and service opportunities. The players participated in a service project building community gardens for a Church in an impoverished area of Abilene, Texas.

The membership dues for Thrive Baseball Club allow the program to carry out its exempt purpose of providing Baseball instruction and training for boys from middle school through high school. The membership dues aid in organizing teams for Thrive Baseball Club to compete in various Baseball leagues and tournaments, which ultimately advances the ability and skills of the players toward success on their high school Baseball team. The platform of Baseball and Thrive Baseball Club additionally teaches the players responsibility, integrity, discipline, teamwork, commitment, character and sportsmanship, to name a few.
