Program areas at Thriving Pink
Granting Pink provides financial grants to help the Yolo County breast cancer community with immediate and direct needs such as medical copays, mental health services, transportation and childcare.
Partnering Pink is public outreach which is community based outreach and education on breast cancer, early detection, prevention and the services available through Thriving Pink. Activities include volunteer day and other year round volunteer activities.
Mentoring Pink provides professional and peer led programs including twice monthly educational workshops, an annual renewal retreat, post treatment support groups, healing arts, meditation, yoga class offerings, and one on one peer mentoring. ProspeRosa provides outreach, education and peer support for the Latino and Spanish speaking communities.
