TITUS COUNTY CARES PROVIDES FOOD, BACKPACKS (WEEKEND FOOD FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN), CLOTHING, SHOES, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, BOOKS, TOYS & GIFTS FOR BIRTHDAYS/HOLIDAYS TO NEEDY CHILDREN AND UTILITIES ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES IN TITUS COUNTY. THE FOOD PANTRY SERVED 493 FAMILIES MONTHLY. EACH WEEK 1,850 CHILDREN RECEIVED A BAG OF CHILD-FRIENDLY FOOD FOR NOURISHMENT OVER THE WEEKEND DURING SCHOOL. AT END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR STUDENTS (KINDERGARTEN THRU 4TH GRADE) RECEIVED TWO NEW BOOKS TO READ OVER THE SUMMER.
