Together We Are Greater Than

While the 2022-23 school year included both fully in-person learning and resumption of after-school and athletic activities post-pandemic, the year was still marked with extraordinary challenges for schools, students, families and communities. The well-documented "unfinished learning" for all students as a result of the pandemic was and is even more pronounced in historically excluded communities, including our sites in rockwood and in downtown hillsboro. Thankfully, Greater Than's model is one that puts a premium on responsiveness and adaptability. Continued on schedule o.once again this year, our staff did a tremendous job of pivoting and modifying approaches to support students, both academically and via a wide array of more targeted, individualized supports. With the combination of being back to normal school, after-school/athletic activities and our targeted approaches to programming, We saw significant growth in key student progress measures, including attendance and math scores, both of which were hit especially hard in the last two years.
