Program areas at Track Two - An Institute for Citizen Diplomacy

Since 1980, Track Two: An Institute for Citizen Diplomacy worked closely with the former Republics of the Soviet Union and Russia and has convened influencers from countries in conflict in immersion workshops and conferences. These conferences stimulate discussions, forge relationships and activate networks that complete projects and influence publics towards greater peace. These networks have established formal partnerships in peace building, space exploration, culture, journalism, the visual arts and health care. A more recent focus on migrant communities has been added to our work. We have brought successful practices in conflict resolution, collaborative communications and emotional and psychological development to countries and regions in conflict with the U.S. and with each other. In the past year we have focused on relations between and among Russia, Ukraine and the United States, in an effort to anticipate needs for global peace and security in the aftermath of the Russia-Ukraine war. Our other specific programs include the International Abrahamic Network, the North Pacific Rim Program and the Culture and Arts Program.
