The Anti-Trans Hate Machine:We also prepared for the new season of Season 2 of The Anti-Trans Hate Machine by bringing on six investigative journalists to begin to research the series.
TransBodies Trans Choices:In March 2022 TransLash launched the year-long Trans Bodies, Trans Choices, film series and journalism initiative centering the importance of reproductive justice for transgender, non-binary, and gender-non conforming people. The Trans Bodies, Trans Choices effort was anchored by a 3-part, short-film series. At the end of 2022 we also launched two short animated shorts films as an extension of our Trans Bodies, Trans Bodies campaign. The Trans Choices, Trans Bodies films have been in over 14 film festivals in the United States and around the world, including with a full program at OutFest, with one film festival win.
TransLash Podcast:Throughout 2022, TransLash produced twenty-four episodes of our critically-acclaimed, Flagship Podcast. The TransLash was chosen by Apple in August 2022 as an Apple Podcast Spotlight, making the TransLash Podcast one of only twelve podcasts to receive this honor from the podcasting behemoth that year.
