Transylvania Youth Council

The tyc is to initiate, organize, and supervise charitable and educational programs and projects which will benefit the Youth of Transylvania county and to work with and aid in the coordination of existing Youth programs in order to create better total Youth programming. The tyc is to serve, listen, and represent local Youth in all matters of civic interest and need. Tyc helps young adults develop responsible leadership skills and promotes participation through the community and surrounding area. At no point in time will the Transylvania Youth Council, Inc. share any of its net earnings with share holders or individuals, and the organization will not, as a substantial part of its activities, attempt to influence legislation or participate to any extent in a political campaign for or against.
