Program areas at Trauma Resource Institute

The Trauma resiliency model (trm) and the community resiliency model (crm) are designed to help individuals understand the biology of traumatic stress reactions and learn specific skills to return the body, mind and spirit back to balance after experiencing traumatic events. These skills can awaken the hope that has, for some, been lost after natural and human-made disasters. Trauma Resource Institute, Inc. is committed to expanding resiliency worldwide. We have a number of trainings and projects happening throughout the year, both domestically in the u.s. and internationally. In calendar 2023, Trauma Resource Institute conducted a total of 72 trainings (54 crm trainings and 18 trm trainings). In total, 1,615 individuals were trained by the Trauma Resource Institute in calendar 2023, although the impact is even larger in that in the crm teacher trainings we certify crm teachers to be able to teach the crm model in their own communities.
